Alnmouth Beach Groyne

A word from the photographer ...

I’ve had this photo in mind for a while, perfect conditions of a high tide with sunrise helped me make my mind up to shoot here.

The sand level is quite high at the moment due to rough seas which means a lot of the groyne is buried but there was just enough to provide a focal point.
